Fauvism. Color revolution
(2 lessons)
In the first lesson we will do our color variation based on a black-and-white reproduction of one of the Fauvist landscapes (9 paintings to choose from). There are no rules: you can make the sky red and the water yellow.
In the finale, we will compare your work with the original painting by the Fauvist artist.

In the second lesson we transform the classical landscapes of famous Russian artists into Fauvism. To do this, we will make a reference in the form of a collage.

Artists whose work we will study:
Henri Matisse, Andre Derain, Maurice de Vlaminck, Raoul Dufy.

Cubism. Down with three-dimensional space
(2 lessons)
Сubists do not draw cubes. They have a special look at the plane and volume. Moreover, they use a special color scheme.
In the lessons we will draw objects and fruits in the style of cubists.

Artists whose work we will study:
Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Juan Gris
Orphism. Idealization through transformation
Based on a series of paintings by Mondrian, "Transformation of the Tree."
Each participant will receive a realistic photo with a tree (7 photos to choose from). Then you will draw the most successful transformation in color (2-3 sketches). Then you will choose the best sketch and draw a full-fledged work in the style of orphism.

Artists whose work we will study:
Robert Delaunay, Sonia Delaunay, Aristarch Lentulov
